Maybe you haven't heard much about Gandus. Gandus is a kind of snack made from rice, sago flour, garlic, and coconut milk are blended into one and then printed using a special mould this circular cake.
Once cooked this, cake is usually cut into small and served using the menu complements such as ebi, chicken, ground beef, shrimp and chicken.

Ingridient
- 250 gr rice flour
- 850ml coconut milk
- ½ teaspoon salt
- Seasoning
- Some oil
- Topping
- 50 gr dried shrimp,
- 8 pcs shallots, slice
- 5 pcs celery, cut
- 3 pcs red chilies, cut
Steps

1Prepare the utensils

- 2Prepare the cake and topping ingredients

3Slice the shallots ,cut the celery and then cut the chilies on the cutting board.

4Heat the amount of vegetable oil on a fraying pan, fry until it sets.

5When the topping ingredients are ready, mix it one by one in a bowl starts from the chilies, then dried shrimp , celery, and last the fried shallots.

6Measure 350 ml coconut milk (out of 850 ml) on a measuring glass then boil it.Do not forget to stir the coconut milk as you boil it , so it will not ruined.

7In a different bowl mix the rice starch and salt. Add the heated coconut milk(350ml) and the rest of the coconut milk (500ml) little by little and stir it with balloon whisk slowly until it is perfectly mixed.

8Pour the dough in a baking pan which is already spread with some oil. Steam it in a steamer about 15 minutes in medium heat.

9Pour the half of the topping on the top of the dough, then steam again for another 15 minutes until it sets.

10Gandus cake is ready to serve.
