RECOMMENDATION PLACE
The temple complex is referred to as the Temple of British Buddhism relics of Srivijaya and Melayu. Attractions in Jambi is also referred to as the largest temple complex in Indonesia. In 2009, UNESCO establish a temple form arrangement of this red brick as one world heritage site that must be protected.
Discovered by s. c. Crooke, a Lieutenant, United Kingdom in the year 1820, Muaro Temple of Jambi is then restored by the Government of Indonesia in 1975. To date, there are countless 61 Temple which is still largely covered ground.
In addition to the temple, found a Homewares also prove that this area was used as the residence of the monks. There is also a Chinese ceramics of Song dynasty which is indicative of the relationship between the intermasional Kingdom of Sriwijaya with the Chinese nation in the past.
