Panggung kajang leko is a custom home that came from the province of Jambi. Panggung kajang leko is one house on stilts in Indonesia were made of wood. In contrast to the traditional hoouse of Papua, Panggung kajang leko has a rectangular shape with a variety of sizes. The uniqueness of the stage house is situated on a building construction that has the art of carving.
Panggung kajang leko house has a construction rooftops of houses curving upwards to resemble a boat made of woven fibers. This ridge is called jerambah or there is also a call with folding awning. Panggung kajang leko's wall section made of wood with a beautiful ornate carving.

Panggung Kajang Leko Is Divided Into 8 Rooms
- The first room is jogan, this room serves as a resting place for members of the family, but it jogan also used as a place to store water.
- The second room called the front porch are enabled to receive guests, but just a man who placed in this room.
- The third room is named in the foyer, this room is used as bedding for boys.
- The fourth named divan transverse space, this room is set aside as the bridal chamber.
- The fifth named back porch space, this room is a bedroom for the children of unmarried women.
- The sixth named laren space, this room used to receive female guests, or the reverse of the front porch.
- The seventh named ferocious space, this room used to process food and also as a place to store food.
- Eighth space once the last room is a kitchen used to cook food dishes typical of Jambi.
Panggung kajang leko (traditional house Jambi) is one of the Indonesian culture that has a taste of high art and culture community of Jambi. All of us, as sons and daughters of the nation is supposed to know and participate preserve it.
